Launch-list requests.

If you join the launch list, we store your email address, the date of your request, your consent, and the referring campaign when supplied. Briefing delivery has not started. For website signups, we request email confirmation before recurring delivery. We also keep records of newsletter permission obtained outside this form. Joining this list does not enroll you in another company’s marketing, and we do not sell subscriber information.

Email service and delivery records.

When briefing delivery begins, we will use Twilio SendGrid to process the recipient address and message for requested confirmations and newsletters. Our newsletter transport is configured without email-open or link-click tracking.

The delivery-event connection is already enabled. SendGrid sends recipient addresses and delivery-event metadata to this server. We retain delivery, failure, complaint and opt-out records for recognized subscribers. Events for unknown addresses and unsubscribe events for other email groups are discarded. An account-wide bounce, complaint or global unsubscribe can stop ENT emails to a matching subscriber. A delivery record does not confirm subscription consent. Subscription preferences.

We keep confirmation and withdrawal dates, consent records, and hashed subscription-link credentials. Unsubscribe links stop future newsletter delivery. We retain a suppression record to honor that choice; submitting the signup form again does not silently reverse it. The desk can also process a withdrawal through the privacy request form.

Submissions and corrections.

We store the name, contact details, organization, reference link, and message you choose to submit so the editorial desk can review and respond. Please do not submit patient-identifying or confidential information. A submission is not automatically published.

Usage and abuse prevention.

We count basic article, profile, sharing, and form actions without advertising cookies. Event records contain an action, page path, time, and campaign source when supplied; they do not contain your email. We retain only a recognized referring channel in this browser tab for up to 30 minutes so navigation to signup can retain its source. This uses session storage, not an advertising cookie; no reader identifier, raw URL, email, or arbitrary campaign value is stored there. Campaign labels are self-reported and do not prove a platform referral. We respect browser Do Not Track for optional usage events and this temporary storage. A launch-list request still records the source you supply with that request. Short-lived, salted network identifiers help limit abusive submissions. Hosting providers may separately process request logs to operate and protect the service.

Public social signals.

Our private editorial desk may receive upload notifications from a small set of officially linked ENT organization YouTube channels through YouTube API Services. We keep the channel and video IDs, video URL and title, publication time when provided, and review state for up to 30 days. We do not collect comments, viewer identities, captions, transcripts, video files, or subscriber counts. An upload is a discovery lead, not a published claim. YouTube use is subject to YouTube’s Terms of Service; see also Google’s Privacy Policy.

Directory information.

The directory uses public professional information and links to its sources. It does not contain patient records or private personal contact information. You can request a correction or review of a profile through the desk.

Retention and requests.

We review unconfirmed launch-list records after 90 days and submitted editorial messages after 12 months, retaining material only when still needed for the requested purpose or correction record. Ask the desk to remove your launch-list entry or review information associated with you.
