FDA’s GUDID reference catalog stores the device-identifier portion of a Unique Device Identifier. It does not contain production identifiers.
Instead, flags indicate which production-identifier attributes are included in a UDI. For ENT reporting, an attribute flag should not be rewritten as the identifier’s value.
FDA says AccessGUDID presents the most recently submitted information and is updated daily. That description is not a product-launch date.
These references were observed October 16, 2026. The overview carries a December 17, 2024 update notice; original page publication dates and exact posting times remain unverified.
