The American Otological Society has two different research deadlines this fall. Its September 3 call invites oral and poster abstracts for the society’s 160th Annual Meeting in Seattle, April 9–11, 2027. Abstracts are due Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time.
Research funding follows a separate schedule. The AOS grants page lists November 1, 2026, for letters of intent, the first week of December for invitations to submit a full application, and January 31, 2027, for full applications. It does not state a cutoff hour for the November 1 deadline.
The society directs abstract submitters to instructions and its online process through MemberClicks. Grant applicants should use the separate grants page for award details and eligibility. The two dates lead to different review tracks; researchers should check the relevant live instructions before submitting.
The abstract and grant deadlines are ten days apart, but they are not interchangeable. Putting each date, process and stated cutoff rule in one place helps ENT researchers plan without assuming the grants deadline shares the abstract deadline’s Pacific-time cutoff.
