A comparison of ClinicalTrials.gov observations shows a specific change in Bicara Therapeutics’ head-and-neck cancer dosing-study record: its selected U.S. location list grew from one entry to seven. Six entries were added and none disappeared between the October 8 and October 13 snapshots. A new selected-field read on October 16, 2026, returned the same seven entries.
The added entries list Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Fort Myers, Orlando, St. Petersburg and West Palm Beach, Florida; and Roanoke, Virginia. The earlier entry in Tyler, Texas, remains. Each row combines a facility label with city, state and country. In this record, every facility label is a generic Site US code, so the list identifies places without establishing the hospitals or practices behind them.
The registered title describes weekly ficerafusp alfa (BCA101) with pembrolizumab and an alternative ficerafusp alfa dosing regimen. The listed conditions are recurrent and metastatic head-and-neck squamous cell carcinoma. Bicara Therapeutics is the registered lead sponsor. Those fields identify the study’s stated research focus and sponsor; this analysis does not adopt a treatment comparison or result.
The unit being counted matters. The comparison uses the same selected metadata fields, with U.S. location rows normalized, sorted and deduplicated. Seven is a count of retained registry entries, not a verified count of institutions, open enrollment sites or participants. The overall record is marked Recruiting, but this review did not establish whether any individual location currently has enrollment capacity or when it began study activity.
The record was first publicly posted on September 8, 2026. Its latest update was submitted on October 12 and posted on October 13; these dates remain separate from the October 16 retrieval. The observed list change is therefore a revision to an existing study record. Neither the posting dates nor the comparison supplies the activation date of any added location.
Source: ClinicalTrials.gov, U.S. National Library of Medicine, study NCT07807163. Record metadata was retrieved October 16, 2026 UTC. A separate source check later that day reported the data-processing token 2026-10-15T09:00:05, with no time-zone offset; it does not establish the processing version of the earlier record response. Fields were selected and normalized; only U.S. location rows were retained, sorted and deduplicated. No NLM or U.S. Government endorsement is implied.
The added city-and-state entries document a change in the study record. Their generic codes leave a separate verification question about institutional identity and actual study activity, so the list alone cannot establish expanded clinical access.
